 Recon Ride-- Phnom Penh to Saigon
November 9th-16th
Touring Indochina in association with Golden Rose Trading and Travel has announced their first reconnaissance ride from Phnom Penh, Cambodia to Saigon, Vietnam commencing November 9th in Phnom Penh and arriving in Saigon on November 16th 2008. The ride will be an informal excursion intended to recon a good route from PP to Saigon for future tours. Rod Skeggs and the crew at Touring Indochina will be joined by an experienced, local tour leader in Mr. Tiet.
"Mr. Tiet has a great body of experience with cycle touring and knows the back roads of Vietnam like the back of his hand." says Rod Skeggs of GRT and Touring Indochina, he continues "in any event it will be a fun ride and with a lot of photographic opportunities."
While Touring Indochina gives no concrete dates for the commencement of commercial cycling tours between Phnom Penh and Saigon it seems that in the near future this itinerary will be available for bookings. For Golden Rose Trading and Travel this marks another exciting offering into the Southeast Asian cycling and tourism market.
